The NPCA hosted their 41st annual Balls Falls Thanksgiving Festival from Oct. 9 to 12. Tens of thousands of people from Niagara, Hamilton, Haldimand County and beyond enjoyed the unique vendors, craft beer, local wine and great musical entertainment.
NPCA staff took the opportunity to chat with visitors about its Living Landscape Project. An information board and post-card handouts were available at the NPCA booth. Staff also spoke one-on-one with hundreds of festival participants. Passersby were introduced to the role of the NPCA, learned what the Living Landscape Project is about and found out where they can sign up for more information as the project kicks off during the coming months.
